This Department provides comprehensive range of Technical training services designed to meet our client’s specific requirements. These include:
Equipment Inspection and Training of Operators
Pressure system regulation
NDT Training for certification to ASNT Level I and II or PCN Level II through THE WELDING INSTITUTE UK and NDT center Nigeria. The NDT programme includes DPI, MPI, Radiography, UT, Visual inspection etc. Tutors and lecturers shall be ASNT/PCN levels III.
The welding department offers a comprehensive range of services aimed at providing total quality solutions to the fabrication, construction and welding industries. These include:

Materials and consumable selections
Development of welding procedures to National and International standards or specific client requirement.
Provision of Technical support.
“Quality requirements for welding” and BS EN 719 “Welding co-ordination tasks and responsibilities, failure and metallurgical investigations”.
Welder training (on site, where the welder would be working in a familiar environment)

We also provide design verification, inspection during construction and certification of new pressure vessels, Shell boilers, water turbine boilers, and road tankers.
Above Inspection and Tests are carried out by internationally certified welding/ Mechanical Engineers.
The objective of this service is to provide access for the fabricators to a qualified welding contractor who meets the requirements of BS EN 719 “welding co-ordinator duties and responsibilities”. The service supports our client in fulfilling the Technical requirements of BS EN 729” Qualities requirements for welding”. Access to the coordinator is on going with an agreed number of hours pre booked.
The objective of this service is to carry out visual inspection of weld fit ups and complete welds, dimensional checks, witnessing of welds or non-destructive testing to confirm conformity of the fabrication with the purchase specifications, the applicable drawings, codes and standards. The level of involvement can either be established by the welding Engineer or advise by the client.
The objective of this service is to provide a consultancy service to the welding and fabricating industry, using qualified welding Engineers. The service includes:-
appraisal of weld joints, welding materials and consumables selection, development of welding procedures to national and international standards or specific client requirements, and failure or metallurgical investigations. The welding Engineers will have both practical and theoretical experience.
The service provides certification of welders against the requirements of ASME IX, API-1104, AWS D1.1 and other national standards. It includes onsite invigilation of the test Piece against written procedures, witness destructive testing and certification of the welder. Prolongation of the welder approval can also be provided.
Welding Procedure Qualification
This service proves the certification of weld procedures against the requirements of ASME IX, API-1104, AWS D1.1 and other national and international standards. It includes on site invigilation of the test Piece against written procedures, witness destructive testing of the piece, review of the destructive testing results, and certification of the weld procedure.
